Frequently Asked Questions

Am I Ready to Own a Campsite?

We will try and answer a few of the frequently asked questions.

How much power is provided?

LMCH provides a 30 amp/120 volt  service to each site.  Members who have 50 amp RVs can use this, but, with restrictions.  They may only be able to use one of their AC units at a time.  Or, they can only use one of their furnaces at a time.

How is the sewage handled?

Each site, currently, usually has a black water tank, and a gray well.  The black tank is usually 150 gallons and needs to be pumped when full.  LMCH will pump the tank when requested for a fee.  The gray does not need to be pumped.

Are there monthly costs?

Dues and assessments are paid yearly.  They start on April 1st.  Members vote on the dues and assessment in our yearly Member’s Meeting in March.  These fees cover the power, water, and garbage, as well as the normal maintenance and upkeep of the camp.

Is there wifi?

You currently can have wifi at you site but there is a fee.

How long can I stay at my site?

Members can stay 234 overnight stays at the camp per calendar year.  Anytime that you stay 30 consecutive nights, you must leave camp for 72 hrs before returning.  It is monitored by computer when you swipe in and out of the gate.

Can I rent out my site?

LMCH is a membership only gated community.  Only members and their families and guests are allowed in behind the gate.  You will love this as a member!  Guest cannot stay in camp without the member being present.  Membership stickers are required on all members vehicles inside of the camp gates.

Can i bring my motorcyle?

Motorcycles cannot be ridden inside the gate.  You would have to trailer or tow them in and they cannot be taken off the trailer, etc while in camp.

How many gate cards can i have?

Each site can have a maximum of 3 gate cards.  1 gate card comes with the purchase.  2 more gate cards can be purchased.

Can I have more than 1 RV on my site?

Only 1 RV per campsite is permitted.  You may have a temporary permit for a short period of time…see the office.  You can tent-camp on your site if you wish.   Tents do not count as extra RVs.  There are courtesy sites for you guests or extra RV for a fee.
